Women’s Retreat – When Jesus Sees

I’ve always been drawn to the Samaritan women at the well in John 4, perhaps because in some ways I can relate to her.  She is surprised when Jesus pays attention to her, for Jews did not associate with Samaritans in that day, let alone women.  Jewish religious teachers rarely spoke with women in public.  Yet, upon seeing this woman, Jesus remains sitting by the well, speaks with her and more importantly, sees her.  Really sees her.  He sees her past, he sees her current sin, and in place of judgment, he offers her grace.  It was in the seeing that her testimony was born and many of the Samaritans from that town came to believe in Jesus because of it.

Jesus is writing a testimony through each of our lives.  And it is through those testimonies that we will impact our families, communities and the world.  I’m so excited to come together and see how he is writing our unique stories.  Join us this weekend for the Women’s Retreat – When Jesus Sees – where divine intersections lead to defining interventions.
