What would you say to someone that may be considering a mission trip?

I encourage you to try it! It's a great opportunity to grow spiritually in couple of ways: 1) To engage in and develop relationships with what starts essentially as a group of strangers; to develop "In". 2) To set your needs aside and immerse yourself in the "Out" of Up-In-Out. You may be hesitant to go, saying you don't have "handyman skills" or skills, period, but you do! What seems to happen on these trips is that each of our group members all find a "sweet spot" where we can best serve. It can little things. Try it.
