What I've been learning...by Kara

1. That deep friendships are a gift from God and can change your life forever…they challenge me, make me laugh, mentor my children, listen, ask hard questions, have fun together, serve together, pray together, eat together (a lot).

2. That Jesus might lay down right next to your child at night and you better not sit on Him…

3. That when God calls me…I want to answer yes.

4. That I don’t like living with a chronic illness but I love the God who allows it and is healing me in His time.

5. That summer is a gift from God and so good for my soul – family time, time in the sun, water and sand!

6. That God wants obedience from me, even when decisions are hard, and people may not like it.

7. That rest is essential in my life – in quiet and stillness I hear God speak.

8. That I love the color orange – for so many reasons.

9. That I can trust God no matter what and He is always enough.

10. That I love God, my husband, my kids, my friends, ministry and my church so very much and am so blessed!
