Do the Hard Things by Doug Applegate

Hello church,

I never know what to write. I'm so not a blogger. Like who wants to listen to me. I know some teens like to hear me cause they show up on Wednesday nights. Anyways, the thing that keeps popping into my head is that we need to do the hard thing. And even more specifically, be a good husband. For all us married men out there we need to show our kids, our wife, our friends, neighbors, extended family, and co-workers what it means to be a real man. To be a real man means we need to sacrifice our life everyday for our wife. We need to serve her like Jesus served us. He did the nasty. He endured the pain. He did what was hard. And by doing so he was able to give God glory.  So come on guys. Lets do the hard things. And if you fail today and take the easy way out, then man up, ask for forgiveness from God and whoever else you wronged and right the ship, set the example for those around you. Let's show the world that with God's help and his spirit inside of us and our eyes focused on Jesus, that we can honor God with our lives. That we can give Him the glory He deserves by doing the right thing. EVEN WHEN IT IS HARD!
