2nd Update from NYC from Teresa

Well, we have begun the "official" work! While we expected to primarily help with some drywalling in the church, we discovered some major plumbing and structural work that needs to occur before that can happen. The amazing thing...we just "happen" to have a plumber with us. And as we began work on their front doors we ran into some issues as well that only a carpenter could address. And guess what? We just happen to have a carpenter along for the ride as well. God truly goes before us and prepares the way.

We have spent some time with Michael and his wife, Anne, who have been coming to this church for 42 years. She shared all the other churches and organizations who would be impacted if they were not here. Included are a Brazilian church, AA groups and a Spanish speaking church. They have both been so welcoming and gracious.

Had our lunch and noon "nugget" at Central Park. Full day of work, relationship building and dependence on God!
