We had a good trip out here - lots of beautiful scenery
and time to get to know each other. We met George yesterday, one of the
elders and the person who is leading us in what needs to be done, when
we arrived around 5:30.
Last night we walked around Manhattan (the church is on 57th Street) and
saw everything from Lincoln Center to Central Park to Times Square.
The group is excited to be here and to get started working. We will be
doing some drywall work, plumbing, electrical, painting and cleaning.
