Blessing of the Backpacks

As a brand-new school age parent, the mention of August 26th brings excitement but also some fear. I am so thankful that I can place my trust in God and his plan for my children AND that He lets me partner with him in raising my children to love and trust him.

One part of that is prayer. This year we are excited to kick-off the school year with a "Blessing of the Backpacks". A short time of prayer for our children, teachers, and the upcoming school year and a celebration of what God has done and will continue to do through our children. Join us on August 18th at 7:00pm.

Kids - bring your parents and your backpacks to kick-off the school year with prayer and ice cream. We can't wait!
